## About this video

As you consider architecture decisions for your product, how you handle app state and data flow can be incredibly important. We're confident you'll want to maintain a single source of truth for app state. In this video, we'll show you the impact of that decision and how this can drastically reduce the propensity for bugs. This foundational concept is called unidirectional data flow.

When implemented successfully, data, dependencies, and database references will stay in sync and reduce the chance for conflicting states.
